Indian Regulatory Authority meets WHO standards for vaccine regulations


World Health Organization (WHO) has declared that the Indian Regulatory Authority - Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) - has met WHO's published indicators for a functional vaccine regulatory system after conducting a technical assessment of the Indian system. This will enable Indian vaccines to achieve WHO prequalification of vaccines.
